All gamers know how redundant it is to buy PSP versions games they already have on their PlayStation 2. Transfering PlayStation 2 games directly to your PSP definitely makes more sense than wasting extra cash on a game you technically already have. Here's how it's done.

Attach the USB cable to the PSP.

Take the remaining end of the USB cable and connect it to your PlayStation 2.

Insert the mini disc from the Max Media USB cable into your PlayStation 2.

Under where it says "Choose primary device," you will see a PSP icon pop up on the screen. Select it.

The screen will change and you will see "Device contents." In this section, the first option allows you to copy any data from your PSP over to your 8mb memory card. The second lets you transfer your saved PlayStation 2 games from your memory card to your PSP. The third option allows you to delete data as you wish, be it on the PSP or your memory card. The final option is called "Uncrush," and it will basically let you retrieve data.

Select the Copy option (the first one) to copy your saved PlayStation 2 games onto your PSP, and you're done.

Tips

You can also use the MAX Media USB Cable and Media Manager to share MP3 music, photos, movies, game-saves and more by connecting the device to your PC.
