An Information Technology system support specialist assists internal and external clients in troubleshooting their computer hardware and/or software. System support professionals may work within a call center environment or interact with clients face to face.

Educational Requirements

  • While a four-year degree within computer science or a related field will give a candidate an advantage in the job market, education in this field may also be obtained through courses at a proprietary school or junior college.
