Pediatric Physical Therapy for Cerebral Palsy

Pediatric physical therapy (PT) is physical therapy for young people. Pediatric physical therapists are trained to work with infants, children and adolescents. Pediatric physical therapy is likely to be prescribed to children with cerebral palsy (CP).

Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy is a neurological disorder caused by brain damage, which usually develops during pregnancy and hinders body movement and muscle coordination. There is no cure for CP so treatment is especially important.
