Clorox Wipes are great for surfaces from kitchen counters to bathrooms.

Clorox Wipes are a fantastic resource to clean all kinds of surfaces around your home. However, it is good to know where you can safely use this product to protect yourself, the members of your household and the items you are cleaning. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Skin Contact

    • Do not use Clorox Wipes on your skin. Do not use them as baby wipes, even though the containers may look similar.

    Eye Contact

    • Keep the wipes away from your eyes and wash your hands after using them. If you do get the liquid in your eyes, thoroughly rinse them with water for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Germs

    • Clorox Wipes disinfect well and help keep your home germ-free. They will kill the influenza A2, rhinovirus type 14, E. coli, streptococcus pyogenes, Klebsiella pneumoniae, salmonella and staph viruses.

    Safe Surfaces

    • Clorox Wipes are safe on many surfaces around the house from kitchens to bathrooms to bedrooms. However, if you or anyone else will eat or prepare food on the surface (including high chair trays), wash the surface with water after you disinfect.

    Disposal

    • After using a Clorox Wipe, throw it away; do not flush it down the toilet. When you are done with the whole container, either throw away the package or recycle it, depending on the resources in your area.
