Byetta is an antidiabetic medication often used in conjunction with other antidiabetic medications such as metformin, sulfonylurea and thiazolidinediones. It is an injectable drug used to treat Type 2 Diabetes (non insulin dependent).

    • A 1.2mL (5 microgram) pen costs around $250.00; a 2.4mL (10 microgram) pen costs around $275.00. Prices as of November 2009. One pen or cartridge gives 60 doses.
