Reasons Why People Have Been Denied a Massage License

Failure to Pay

Massage licenses can be expensive. If you apply for a license but fail to pay the fee, your license will be denied.

Most states require massage therapists to undergo training at an accredited school or school approved by the state board of massage. If you have not completed the training, a massage license will be denied.
Fingerprint Card Trouble

Some states require applicants to submit a fingerprint card for a criminal background check. If the fingerprints have been rolled improperly or the card is not complete, the application for a license will be rejected.
