Property management companies and owners hire qualified professionals to efficiently manage their apartment communities. Apartment managers must use their skills to communicate with residents and ensure that the property is well kept.

    • Experience requirements vary depending on the employer. Individuals with 2 to 5 years of experience are often sought after to manage large apartment complexes because of their familiarity with apartment bookkeeping policies, rent collections and tenant laws.
