Naproxen is a type of pain medication known as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is recommended in the treatment of arthritis, spondylitis, gout, tendinitis and body pain.

Allergic reaction

  • Patients who are prone to getting allergic reactions with NSAID-type medication have high possibilities of a repeat attack of rash and swelling with naproxen because it falls under this category of medication.

Peptic Ulcers

  • Patients who have suffered from peptic ulcers before may be at risk for gastrointestinal problems such as bleeding and ulcers and even punctures in the digestive tract when using naproxen.
