Magnesium is found naturally throughout the human body. Using magnesium oil solutions, you can replenish depleted levels of magnesium and promote the health of an array of bodily functions.

  1. Magnesium oil is a compound mixture of magnesium chloride and water. Magnesium oil is not chemically an oil; however, it is given this term because of its oil-like texture (Reference One).

  3. Magnesium oil helps to replenish magnesium levels in the body. It produces an array of benefits, such as increasing energy levels, soothing aches and pains, promoting healthy skin and detoxifying the immune system among an array of other benefits (Reference Two).

  5. Magnesium oil can be applied topically to the skin. You can also mix it with water in a tub or basin if you want to cover the entire body or create a foot soak (Reference One).

  7. For maximum magnesium absorption, magnesium oil should be applied to skin that is not saturated by lotions and creams (Reference One).
  8. Warnings

  9. Talk with a medical professional before starting magnesium oil treatments if you have kidney disease. The effects of magnesium chloride on newborns have not been determined (Reference Three).
