Naproxen

Naproxen is used for mild to moderate pain. It is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory medication that comes in an extended release formula and can last up to 12 hours.

Although this medication has garnered a bad reputation for abuse, when taken every 12 hours as directed, this synthetic morphine can have a long-lasting effect on your pain.

Fentanyl

Fentanyl is is a narcotic analgesic that, in patch form, releases the opioid through the skin in controlled doses throughout the day. The patch is left on all the time and can remain effective for up to 3 days.
Bupivacaine

When injected into the affected muscles, bupivacaine will block pain at the nerve site and inhibit the conduction of pain along the neural pathways. It is sometimes combined with lidocaine.
Botulinum Toxin

This strain of botulism is used for site injections in muscles that involuntarily contract. It also acts on nerves themselves so that the nerves do not conduct pain impulses.
