Kitchen cabinets come in two basic styles: face frame and frameless. Face frame cabinets have a wood frame on the outside of the cabinet box, and have more of a conventional look and the frameless are built without the outer frame and have a more modern look.
Doors
-
Cabinet doors can be solid or have glass inserts. Glass inserts come in a variety of styles such as clear, frosted or stained glass.
-
Stainless Steel
-
Stainless steel cabinets never need to be refaced or painted. They are durable and you install them by simply screwing them into the wall.
Custom Cabinets
-
Custom kitchen cabinets are more costly, but add more to the value of your home.
Stock Cabinets
-
Most stock cabinets are purchased separately and are more economical. They can be mixed and matched, by using different colors or styles, and arranged to look as though they were custom made.
