The 2010 BMW Sport Touring F 800 ST and the 2010 Honda Crossover DN-01 motorcycles attract similar markets both in performance and price. The BMW F 800 ST sells for $13,095 and the Honda DN-01 starts at $15,599.

    BMW Characteristics

  1. The BMW F 800 ST is a slimmer version of the F 800 with a high windshield, full fairing, raised handlebars and ergonomics geared to distance touring, according to PowerSports Network.

  3. The Honda DN-01 is identified by Honda as a crossover motorcycle that combines touring, cruiser and sportbike design and ergonomics.
  4. BMW Features

  5. The F 800 ST comes in only one color: champagne metallic. Its performance Brembo four-piston hydraulic calipers and optional ABS give it superior stopping power to match its speed capabilities.
  6. Honda Features

  7. The most significant aspect of the DN-01 is the rider-friendly HFT automatic continuously variable transmission that features six speeds and no clutch.
  8. BMW Engine Specifications

  9. The BMW F 800 ST is powered by a 798cc two-cylinder, four-stroke 85-horsepower liquid-cooled engine capable of 63 pound-feet of torque.
  10. Honda Engine Specifications

  11. A 680cc V-Twin liquid-cooled fuel-injected 61-horsepower engine with a 10.0:1 compression ratio powers the Honda DN-01.
