The 4-H Club operates on college campuses nationally.

The 4-H Club is an organization sponsored by the Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service of the United States Department of Agriculture. Its mission is to empower "youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults." The club operates on college campuses across the U.S. Each local has five officers: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and reporter.

  1. President

    • The 4-H Club president ensures that everyone works together to fulfill the mission of the organization. The president accomplishes this by leading meetings, planning the activities for the year and casting deciding votes when necessary.

    Vice President

    • When the president is absent, the vice president assumes the president's duties. Additionally, the vice president serves as the chair of various 4-H committees throughout the year.

    Secretary

    • The secretary keeps all records and meeting minutes, and drafts all the club's correspondence. Additionally, the secretary takes attendance and maintains the group's contact list.

    Treasurer

    • The 4-H treasurer handles all of the group's money. This includes cash, bank accounts and the maintaining of financial records.

    Reporter

    • The reporter acts as the public relations specialist for the group. This includes writing 4-H press releases, courting local press and searching for opportunities for the group to interact with the community.
