An offset oven rack enables more versatility when you are cooking multiple items in one oven. It's easy to clean, allows easy access to food items and can save cooking time.

    Significance

  1. According to Free Patents Online, "The offset oven rack establishes an upper food item support zone and a lower food item access zone in order to enable a consumer to gain enhanced access to a lower portion of a food item supported on the rack."
  2. Features

  3. Removal of an insert in the offset oven rack creates two levels of cooking zones. It is a standard size oven rack with a removable insert on the right. The removable rack is placed in the center position or higher position; this allows you to place tall items on the right side of the oven.
  4. Benefits

  5. This feature enables you to cook or reheat three or more items at once to save time. You can also remove the insert; place it on the counter for use as a cooling rack.
  6. Size

  7. Offset oven racks are available for purchase in standard 24-inch and 30-inch oven widths. Each rack is 18 inches deep.
  8. Considerations

  9. When you clean your oven on the automatic clean cycle, you leave the offset rack in the oven to clean it as well. You can also clean the rack's non-stick surface by wiping it with a damp sponge.
