There are certain exercises you can do to alleviate back muscle pain.

As we get older our bodies begin to age, and physical ailments come to the fore. One of the most common problems that can affect people of all ages is back pain. With regular exercise, however, most aches and pains can be alleviated.

  1. Warm Up

    • Always warm up before starting any kind of stretching or exercise. A simple five minutes of walking or riding an exercise bike will be sufficient enough.

    Stretching

    • Back stretching exercises are a great way to alleviate back pain and can be performed at home as well as at a gym. Be careful to make sure you are stretching correctly to avoid further injury.

    Swimming

    Weight Training

    • Use low weights and simple pull downs.
      Use low weights and simple pull downs.

      Using a low weight, simple pull downs on a lateral training machine increases the development of muscles on either side of the spine, helping to strengthen your lower back and relieve back pain. Perform this simple exercise slowly to prevent further injury.
