    • Miracle Mineral Supplement contains sodium chlorite.

    Function

    • Tests performed at Berkley showed sodium chlorite had no effect on rates of cancer in male and female laboratory mice.

    Side Effects

    • A March 2008 study performed at Tokyo Medical and Dental University showed no side effects when sodium chlorite was used orally.

    Warnings

    • On January 6, 2009 the Food and Drug Administration sent a warning letter to True Renewal, stating Miracle Mineral Supplement and other True Renewal products were not safe and effective cures for the illnesses claimed. As of November 1, 2009 the FDA has not approved an True Renewal drug for marketing.
