KOA Grand Canyon RV Parks

KOA Grand Canyon RV Parks thumbnail
There are four KOA RV parks in the vicinity of the Grand Canyon.

KOA operates four campgrounds with RV sites, tent sites and cabins within a one- to two-hour drive of the south entrance to Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. The campgrounds are open all year.

  1. Proximity

    • The Grand Canyon/Williams campground, 53 miles from Grand Canyon Village, is the closest KOA site to the canyon. It's followed in proximity by the campgrounds at Williams/Exit 167/Circle Pines (59 miles), Flagstaff (92 miles) and Seligman (106 miles).

    Hookups

    • All four campgrounds have full RV hookups, including 50 amp electrical connections. Free wireless Internet is available as well. Flagstaff has cable TV and Grand Canyon/Williams promised cable was coming soon in late 2009.

    Amenities

    • The Wagon Wheel Cafe at Williams/Exit 167/Circle Pines serves breakfast and dinner, and Flagstaff has a camp kitchen serving breakfast. Flagstaff and Grand Canyon/Williams have on-site stores; all of the campgrounds except Flagstaff have seasonal swimming pools.

    Size Limits

    • Owners of large RVs should head to the Grand Canyon/Williams and Williams/Exit 167/Circle Pines campgrounds, where the maximum pull-through length is 100 and 90 feet, respectively. The maximum length at Seligman is 73 feet, and at Flagstaff it's 55 feet.

    Go Green

    • The Flagstaff KOA calls itself a "green" campground and has on-site recycling, water reclamation, wind turbines and an environmental impact educational park.
