Signs & Symptoms of Urinary Tract Infection in Dogs

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) in dogs present a variety of symptoms that need immediate attention. It is vital that dog owners recognize UTI symptoms for treatment to be initiated as soon as possible.

Frequent Urination

Dogs with a urinary tract infection will ask to go outside more frequently, often with an unusual sense of urgency. The dog may pace back and forth in front of the door or may be unable to hold urine, making him prone to accidents in the house.

Bloody Urine
