- Sniffing canned air isn't innocent fun. It is drug use, commonly called "huffing" by users and police.
- Users may immediately feel dizzy or suffer from headaches, hallucinations, impaired judgment, limb spasms or abdominal pain.
- The long-term side effects include permanent kidney, liver or central nervous system damage, muscle weakness, irritability and lack of coordination.
- Look for warning signs of inhalant addiction: hidden chemical-soaked rags, runny or red eyes and nose, nausea or loss of appetite and chemical stains on fingers or face.
- Some users of canned air may die due to "Sudden Sniffing Death Syndrome," even if it's the first time.
