What Are the Measurements of Twin Size Bedding?
Picking the right size bedding for your twin bed is very important. Before buying, you need to know the correct measurements to ensure you get the right fit. While sizes can vary, most manufacturers use the same standards. Does this Spark an idea?

Sheets
-
Fitted sheets for a twin mattress measure 39 inches by 76 inches. The size of the flat sheet isn't too important since it will be large enough to hang over the sides and edges and is not an exact fit to the mattress.
Pocket Size
-
Mattress depth will affect sheet pocket size. A standard mattress is 7 inches to 9 inches deep. Standard twin sheets are made to these dimensions. Pillow top and deep sided mattresses are becoming more common. Deep mattresses range up to 15 inches deep and extra deep mattresses are 15 inches to 22 inches deep. Verify the side depth of the mattress and buy sheets accordingly.

Comforters
-
Twin comforters are 68 inches by 86 inches. Some manufacturers vary from this size and make oversize comforters.
Blankets
-
Blankets are made differently and are not the same size as comforters. Typical blankets are 66 inches by 90 inches.
Pillows
-
Standard pillows are 20 inches by 26 inches and are made to fit twin beds.
