Staple guns, also referred to as pneumatic nailers, are handheld tools used to drive heavy metal staples into various types of materials, such as wood or masonry.

    Use

  1. Staple guns can be used for both decorative and construction purposes. Powered staple guns are commonly used as construction tools. Avoid using industrial, construction-type staple guns for home decorative projects.
  2. Operation

  3. Unlike a desktop stapler used for binding papers, powered staple guns use an immense amount of force to bind materials.
  4. Safety

  5. Always wear gloves and safety glasses when using powered staple guns. Head and face protective gear is also suggested.
  6. Warning

  7. A staple gun's force can cause serious injury. Do not point staple guns at people or animals.
  8. Fact

  9. When used with an air compressor, a powered staple gun can reduce the amount of muscle needed to drive staples into materials.
