What Are the Benefits of Thai Hand Reflexology?
Thai hand reflexology is a form of massage therapy that targets specific zones and pressure points located on the palms and backs of the hand. As a healing zone therapy, it is offered by many professionals and spas as a service. According to the National Institute of Reflexology, simple techniques applied to fingers, hands and wrists promote health and healing to all body areas.

Reducing Headache
-
Pressure points for the head and temple region are found on the tips of the thumb and fingers. By gently kneading and massaging the tips only, it is possible to slowly reduce headache or migraine pressure.
Sinuses
-
To open up sinuses and reduce pressure, slowly massage the lengths of each finger. Focus on the tips of the fingers to help improve circulation to the head and ear region by increasing oxygen flow.
Allergies
-
Allergy symptoms of all kinds can be reduced by applying pressure to the fleshy portion of the top sides of the palm of the hand. This will increase circulation to the nasal passages and throat region.
Neck and Shoulder Pain
-
By massaging the area just under the joint of each finger on the top side of each hand in a clockwise motion from left to right, it is possible to reduce neck pressure. The shoulder region is governed by the second segment of each finger, the region under the fingertip (the top/first segment).
Back Pain
-
The sides of the hands around the thumb area relate to the back, and you can decrease pain there by gently massaging the back area of the wrist joint and thumb regions.
