Possible side effects of Camoquin include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, vertigo, lethargy, abdominal pain, headaches, increased sensitivity to the sun, double or blurred vision and a blue discoloration of your finger nails.

Risks

In some patients, Camoquin causes neutropenia or anemia, deficiencies of white and red blood cells, respectively. Liver damage is also possible while taking Camoquin.
Considerations

Because of its potential side effects, doctors restrict use of the drug in alcoholics, women who are pregnant or nursing and those with a history of cirrhosis, hepatitis, or liver disease, using the drug only when there is no safe alternative available.
