Cinergy provides health insurance to individuals who do not receive benefits through work, or are self-employed, work part-time or are unemployed. A person who does not qualify for insurance or has recently graduated can also apply for benefits.

Limited Benefit Health Insurance

This plan offers health insurance that covers basic medical treatment. Coverage includes doctor visits, short hospital stays, ER treatment, preventative tests, surgical procedures and X-rays. You can choose your doctor and hospital, and no deductible is required.
Short Term Medical Insurance

This plan offers a $2 million lifetime maximum with a $250 or $500 deductible. You can choose any hospital and doctor. For doctor and urgent care visits, the cost is $50 for the first three visits. Beginning with the fourth visit and all other services, you pay 20 percent up to $5,000. After meeting the $5,000 maximum, Cinergy pays 100 percent.
Critical Illness

Critical illness coverage provides financial assistance for illnesses such as cancer, heart attack, stroke, coma, burns and paralysis. This is meant to supplement other health insurance coverage. Upon diagnosis, Cinergy pays a lump-sum benefit for certain medical conditions.
