Team building and leadership training should include ice-breakers which help break down barriers and ease tension. It should include relevant content and also hands-on activities and exercises throughout the training which will energize participants and keep their attention focused.
Materials

Materials may include slide presentations and workbooks which participants can use to follow the material and do exercises, notebooks and pens for notetaking, and take-away items such as mugs or cup-holders. Also provide snacks and drinks for participants during breaks in the session.
Size

The size of the training classes depends on what type of material you want to cover. If possible, keep the group size under twenty per leader and consider breaking into small groups to facilitate more individual participation.
