    • The wax can contain useful scents that can be used for aromatherapy, such as "lavender therapy," a popular scent released in some candles. Or they can have atmospheric smells that will leave your home smelling rich with luxurious aromas for recreational purposes.

    Gifts

    • People often buy candles for gifts to celebrate events such as weddings, anniversaries or for happy birthdays. Gift candles are usually packaged in sets that are sold in single batches or altogether in a wrapped composition of arrangements.

    Decorations

    • You will find candles in many home decor stores because they exhibit modern shapes and designs. Along with the candles are accessories that enhance their aesthetic qualities even more.

    Seasons

    • There are candles that are specifically chosen to emphasize different seasons and holidays.

    Citronella

    • Citronella candles are used specifically for insect control, sometimes by way of the famous Tiki torch that you can burn outside your house. Mostly, these citronella candles are a natural mosquito repellent that has a lemon scent to it.

    Mood

    • Candles are also used to alter the mood of your surroundings. There is a certain magic to flickering candle light that softens the edges of shadows and hard edges, creating a soothing aspect to a room.
