What Are the Symptoms of Gastric Flu?

Gastroenteritis is called the stomach flu or the 24-hour flu because it goes away in a few days. It causes irritation and inflammation of the stomach and small and large intestines. It affects people of all ages and causes abdominal cramping, pain, diarrhea and vomiting. Gastric flu is a viral infection and can be spread by kissing, shacking hands, sharing drinks, such as soda or eating utensils.
