The Acadia's estimated fuel economy is 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 mpg on the highway for the front-wheel drive model. The all-wheel-drive version gets 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. The 2008-9 models received a five-star crash rating, the best available, for front and side impacts.
