Accutane Drug Side Effects

Accutane is a prescription medication used for disfiguring cases of acne. Despite its effectiveness, Accutane poses a risk for side effects in some patients.

      • Accutane poses a high risk for birth defects and miscarriages. Because of this, the iPLEDGE program requires women to submit to pregnancy testing and take oral contraception medications to avoid these complications.
