While many psychology undergraduates with stars in their eyes envision themselves counseling people reclined on couches, often they find job hunting after graduation quite the rude awakening. If you plan on obtaining a psychology degree, you might want to keep your options open. Knowing your options will help you find a rewarding, decent-paying job that utilizes your psychology degree.

    High School Psychology Teacher

  1. After graduating with your psychology degree, consider obtaining your teacher's certificate through an alternative certification program. Teaching psychology to high school students will allow you to pass on the information you have learned, as well as foster interest in your field.

  3. Children's mental health continues to grow as a chief concern. As schools try harder to meet all of their students' needs, demand for school psychologists has gone through the roof.
