Mac Book Vs. Mac Book Pro

The MacBook and MacBook Pro are two models of laptops created by Apple. The MacBook is their base laptop model and comes in one version and the MacBook Pro is their enhanced laptop model with three versions to choose from.   1. Models

    • The Macbook only comes in one version that is 13 inches with a 2.13GHz processor. The MacBook Pro comes in three versions and the size options are 13 inches, 15 inches, and 17 inches. The processor for the MacBook Pro ranges from 2.26 GHz to 2.8GHz.

    Memory

    • The MacBook comes with two gigabytes of memory and can be upgraded to four gigabytes. The MacBook Pro comes with two to four gigabytes of memory with the option to upgrade to eight gigabytes.

    • A Macbook comes with a 160 gigabyte hard drive with the option to upgrade to 500 gigabites. The MacBook Pro comes with a 160 gigabyte to 500 gigabyte hard drive and the smaller hard drives are also upgradeable to 500 gigabytes.

    Cost

    • A MacBook currently costs $999 and MacBook Pro costs $1199 to $2499. Very rarely can you find MacBooks on sale, but prices do change with releases of new models.
