There are many haircuts and hair colors out there that make it hard to narrow down the choice for your hair. You can start by deciding on your hair length, and then go from there.

    Long Hair Cuts

  1. Any hair that comes below the shoulders is considered long for women. There are many cuts you can do with long hair. You have the option of layered hair, which you can style in many ways such as bangs in the front and simple trims that allow you to curl, crimp and color your hair to give it more character.
  2. Medium Hair Cuts

  3. Medium length hair does not reach past your shoulders. There is more flexibility with medium hair because most long and short haircuts work well with hair this length. Medium hair is complimented nicely with side or full bangs.
  4. Short Hair Cuts

  5. Short hair cuts seem to be in style these days and A-line bobs are particularly common. The classic Chinese bob is cut at the neckline. These too can be complimented with side-swept bangs and coloring.
  6. Highlights

  7. Highlights give your hair even more character. Permanent highlight kits can be found at your nearby CVS pharmacy or drugstore. Temporary highlights can also be used. These washable ones are available at local beauty supply stores.
  8. How Often Should You Cut Your Hair

  9. Short haircuts usually last three or four weeks, medium haircuts can last up to four to five weeks, and long hair will need a trim every six weeks to prevent split ends.
