Common Side-effects.

The most common side-effects of using Zonegran are :drowsiness, abdominal pain including diarrhea and nausea, flu symptoms including fatigue, confusion, difficulty concentrating, and loss of muscle coordination, dizziness and double vision, and skin rash (commonly accompanied with burning sensation)
Allergic Reactions.

While there is no known method for determining which patients will experience reactions, the development of a skin rash is a common indicator of an allergy.
Other Signs of Reaction.

Patients who experience severe reactions should not discontinue use. Doing so can lead to more frequent and severe seizures. You should consult a physician if you experience fever, bruising easily, sore throat, mouth blisters, muscle pain (severe), or worsening seizures.
Special Warnings for Pregnant Women.

Patients who discover they are pregnant while using Zonegran should consult a physician. Mothers who are breastfeeding also need to discuss the risk with their doctor.
