Age Requirements to Join U.S. Army
The United States Military offers many job opportunities for people with limited resources. There are many different restrictions and requirements that people have to meet in order to enlist, including age. Within this category, the army takes into consideration not only how old you are, but how many times you have served in the army previously.
-
Minimum Age
-
To enroll in the military you must be a minimum of 17 years old (with parental consent) or 18 years old (without parental consent).

The maximum age for those who have previously served is determined by adding the years of prior service to the newly increased age of 42.
