The removal of wisdom teeth remains a common procedure among teenagers and young adults. Wisdom teeth must be extracted when there is not enough room for them with the rest of your teeth. A variety of problems and symptoms can arise when wisdom teeth are coming out.

Gum Pain

Jaw Pain

Infection

Partially impacted wisdom teeth can form a gum flap near the top of the somewhat exposed tooth. Bacteria from food particles can grow in the flap leading to infection and irritation.

Tooth Decay and Bad Breath

Impacted wisdom teeth can inhibit the execution of proper dental care. As a result, such problems can cause tooth decay and bad breath.
