Drinking Water & Skin Wrinkles

Drinking water is a very important part of any diet. Staying well hydrated can combat fatigue, headaches and back pain and can help you lose weight. Drinking plenty of water also keeps the skin hydrated and reduces wrinkles inside and outside of the body.

    Significance

  1. Water nourishes and hydrates the body and the skin. Hydrated skin looks more radiant and younger because water plumps up every cell in the skin and body.
  2. Dehydration

  3. Skin sweats to cool the body. In dehydration, the water reserves in the skin may be used up. Dehydration is the main cause of dry skin. It also directly contributes to wrinkles, as the decreased moisture leads to prune-like skin.
  4. Skin Repair

  5. When water is not replaced in the body from its core circulation base (internal cells), skin will not be able to repair itself. Dehydrated cells will emerge all over the body and appear on the skin causing wrinkles.
  6. Exposure

  7. Exposure to sun and wind is very dehydrating. These elements enhance the loss of moisture and water, and directly lead to wrinkling of the skin.
  8. Tone

  9. Adequate moisture will benefit the entire body by giving it a toned and healthy look. A toned body is tighter and not as prone to the appearance of wrinkles.
  10. Impurities

  11. Water helps rid and flush the body of impurities that can contribute to aging, and damaged and wrinkled skin. The skin needs nutrients to stay supple. Water and the benefits and nutrients it provides plays a big role in keeping wrinkled skin at bay.
