Camaro Vs. Corvette

The Camaro and the Corvette are part of Chevrolet's line-up of sports vehicles. There are only a few differences between the automobiles.

  1. Trims

    • The Camaro comes in a coupe, with LS, LT and SS trims. The Corvette can be either a coupe or convertible, with LT, Z and ZR trims.

    Engines and Transmissions

    • A V6 engine and 6-speed manual transmission comes standard in all Camaros and Corvettes. However, the Corvette's engine has more horsepower.

    Safety Features

    • The Camaro and the Corvette share the same safety features. Among them are ABS brakes, power locks and keyless entry. The Camaro, though, also comes with side head curtain airbags.

    Interior Features

    • The Corvette has separate driver and front passenger climate controls, and a leather steering wheel---features that are absent in the Camaro. However, the Camaro has a trip computer, which is not an option in the Corvette.

    Exterior Features

    • While the Camaro and Corvette have standard alloy wheels, the Corvette's trims have 18-inch ones, while the Camaro could have wheels as big as 20 inches.
