Disney's California Adventure, a popular theme park that's part of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, utilizes the Fastpass method to help reduce long waits for popular attractions. The queuing system can help guests receive quicker access to rides.

Simply insert your admission ticket into the Fastpass dispenser at the end of the line of an attraction and you'll receive a Fastpass ticket in return. This ticket will display a time to return to the attraction (usually a one-hour window), where you'll then be directed towards the much shorter Fastpass line.
  2. Popular Rides

  3. Tower of Terror

The Fastpass remains a staple for California Adventure's more popular rides, such as Tower of Terror, California Screamin' or Soarin' Over California. Due to their popularity, Fastpasses may not be available all day for these attractions as they tend to run out early.
  4. Cost

  5. Guests can obtain Fastpasses completely free of charge. They come included with the cost of your admission ticket.
  6. Advantages

  7. The Faspass allows guests to spend time enjoying other attractions in California Adventure without having to waste their day simply standing in long lines.
  8. Fun Fact

  9. Although Disney coined the term Fastpass, the idea of reserved queuing actually began years ago at the World's Fair.
