Kunal Khemu is an Indian television, film and stage actor. Khemu first achieved fame as a child actor in the movies "Sir" and "Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ki" and the television series "Gul Gushan Gulfam."

    Birth and Family

  1. Kunal Khemu was born on May 25, 1983, to the Indian actors Ravi and Jyoti Khemu. He grew up in Mira Road, a suburb of Mumbai.

  3. Khemu has been known as a "darling child actor for Indian film lovers," according to Kunallkhemu.net. Khemu won the Screen Videocon and Sansui awards for his work in the movie "Zakham."
  4. Child Modeling

  5. Khemu worked as a child model and appeared in "over 25 different modeling and commercial assignments," according to Kunalkhemu.net. At the age of 14, Khemu quit acting to concentrate on his formal education.
  6. University Acting Achievements

  7. At Mumbai University, Khemu acted in several plays and won the "Balraj Sahani Trophy for Outstanding Performance, Best Actor Mumbai University (2002 and 2003)" and "Mahendra Joshi Rotating Trophy for Excellence in Performing Arts," according to Kunalkhemu.net.
  8. Professional Career (Post-University)

  9. Khemu returned to a professional acting career after university and landed the lead role in the 2005 film "Kalyug." He was also featured in the movies "Traffic Signal," "Dhol" and "Superstar."
