Herbs for Foot Pain

Many herbs are known for their anti-inflammatory and analgesic qualities, such as cat's claw and ginger. Using herbs for pain relief offers a safe alternative over traditional pain relievers, typically with the same results.

  1. Arnica

    • Try Arnica gel topically in 10 to 20 percent tincture solution for lessening pain. Arnica is used to reduce pain from many ailments, including joint and muscle pains and bruising.

    Salix

    Boswellia

    Ginger

    • Used to alleviate many pain-related illnesses, ginger possesses anti-inflamatory and pain-fighting qualities. Take 250 mg of ginger extract every day for foot pain relief.

    Evening Primrose Oil

    • Supplement with one tablespoon of evening primrose oil daily for pain relief. Evening primrose oil can abate the pain and inflammation of arthritis and other afflictions.
