Ice Dangers

When lakes freeze over with ice, it can be dangerous to stand or walk on the surface. Ice never freezes evenly and many variable can affect its thickness.

Freezing Rain

Freezing rain poses a hazard for both people and cars. It can be virtually invisible when it comes in contact with certain surfaces, such as roadways, making them very slick.
