Island Party Invitation Ideas

Islands provide a great deal of inspiration for all aspects of party planning, including the invitations. Custom invitations with an island theme set the tone for a festive party. They provide a more personalized touch to your event than commercially marketed invitations.

Bottle Invitations

Fill a small bottle with sand and miniature sea shells. Tie a card with the party information around the neck of the bottle. An alternative to a bottle of sand is a message in a bottle. Write the party information on a piece of paper, roll it and slide it into the bottle.

Postcards

Use postcards with a picture of an island for the party invitations. Write the party information on the back of the postcard and mail it as usual.

Palm Leaves

Use artificial palm leaves for the island party invitations. Write the party information with a permanent marker on the palm leaves.

Sand Castle
