Pirate Theme Ideas

Pirate invitations can be computer-generated, purchased or made with construction paper, glue and markers. Invitations can look like scroll paper, rolled up and tied with twine.
Decorations

Decorate the area like a pirate ship, with flags, skulls, crossbones and treasure chests. Find the items at Halloween stores or online.

Have pirate foods, such as chicken legs, split hot dogs to look like an octopus and other finger foods. Have root beer or red punch called alligator blood.

Provide the guests with treasure maps, made from brown paper. Make a treasure chest by cutting a cardboard box and painting it and hide it for the guests to find.

Make treasure boxes for the guests. Fill the boxes with pirate candy and toys, such as pirate eye patches, candy necklaces, chocolate coins and ring pops.
