Advantages

A study done by the U.S. Department of Energy revealed that pollution from these cars was significantly lower than from traditional gasoline and diesel cars. Also, hydrogen is more abundant than the above two fuels.
Disadvantages

Hydrogen technology still has a long way to go. It's very expensive and very lengthy to collect enough hydrogen to power a car, and even then the car isn't as efficient as a traditional car.
