Is Sandals a Couples-Only Resort?
Sandals Resorts prides itself as being an all-romantic resort chain that exclusively caters to couples only. The collection of Caribbean resorts includes seven in Jamaica, three in St. Lucia, one in Antigua and two in the Bahamas.
-
Romantic Setting
-
All the Sandals resorts are situated right on a beach. Each location includes plenty of secluded spots for romance, ranging from tucked-away coves to private pools.
All-Inclusive
-
Sandals Resorts strives to have its guests shed all their worries with all-inclusive resorts. This means all meals, beverages, snacks, most activities and taxes and gratuities are included in the room rate.
-
Weddings
-
Should guests decide to tie the knot, Sandals Resorts includes weddings in the all-inclusive room rate. The wedding package includes a personal wedding planner who will arrange for everything that your heart desires to make it the most memorable of nuptials.
Honeymoons
-
If guests visit for their honeymoon, a special honeymoon package also is included in the room rate. The couple gets champagne, turn-down service and a breakfast in bed. There are two packages from which to choose.
Renewing Vows
-
If couples want to say, "I do" all over again, Sandals Resorts offers a package that is similar to the wedding package. However, this package is not included in the room rate. A copy of the marriage certificate is required for the renewal ceremony.
Rates
-
Rates vary widely, depending on location, type of room and season of the year. As of September 2009, rates range from $120 to $190 per person, per night.
