Osteopathy is a compilation of techniques used to not only remedy an array of structural ailments in the human body, but to also promote their healthy function. It is a form of holistic medicine involving the hands and feet of the therapist.

    CranioSacral Techniques

  1. Cranial osteopathy focuses on the central nervous system's relationship with the rest of the body, focusing on changes in the body's cerebral-spinal fluid referred to as Cranial Rhythmic Impulse (CRI).
  2. Musculo-Skeletal Techniques

  3. Musculo-skeletal techniques focus on the relationships between muscles, joints and soft tissues. According to Osteo-Online, this technique "eliminates muscular spasms and tensions in the ligaments, thereby restoring complete mobility to the joint."
  4. Internal Organs and the Digestive Tract

  5. Techniques related to the digestive tract and other internal organs utilize "respiratory motion" and signals from the body's central nervous system to promote the healthy function of these organs.
  6. Muscle Energy Techniques

  7. METs, or Muscle Energy Techniques, use counter force applied to the muscles to restore motion to stressed muscles.
  8. High Velocity Low Amplitude Techniques

  9. HVLAs techniques (High Velocity Low Amplitude) restore range of motion to joints restricted by pain or soreness using quick trust techniques to the affected joints.
