Left 4 Dead Information

Left 4 Dead, made by Valve, was released in 2008. In this game, four people work together to escape a zombie apocalypse. Unlike like many other zombie games, the zombies in this game work in large groups and run at players relentlessly. No obstacles get in their way, and some of them have special abilities.

Special Infected

There are five characters that are "Special Infected." The Tank, Hunter, Boomer and Smoker are playable, but the Witch is not. The names give some idea of what their abilities are; for example, the Tank is a large Hulk-like monster that can move cars and kill survivors in a few hits.

Campaign

There are four campaigns split into five maps each. Each campaign is set up like a movie and even has a poster advertising it. There is a credits section after each campaign is completed to show the statistics of the game.

Versus Mode

Versus mode allows players to be a Special Infected monster and try to prevent the survivors from reaching the end of the level. A person is randomly selected to be the Tank.

Survival Mode

This never-ending mode has the four survivors survive as long as possible against waves of zombies. Medals are awarded if certain time is reached.

Achievements

Achievements are awards given for doing certain things. An example of one is the "Zombie Genocidest" achievement which is awarded for killing 53,595 zombies.
