What Is a Cordless Nail Gun?

Nail guns are used in all phases of remodeling and new home construction. They make repetitive nailing fast and easy. Regular nail guns are run by electricity and compressed air. But a cordless nail gun does not require any electricity to be operated. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Batteries

    • Cordless nail guns are run by rechargeable batteries. They also have carrying cases with built-in handles for easy transport.

    Function

    • Cordless nail guns are designed to be used in remote areas, tight areas and places where there is no need for an abundant amount of nailing.

    Features

    • Nails are driven through the use of a gas fuel cell. The gas gets ignited by an electrical charge from the battery which creates an explosion. This then causes the nail to get driven.

    Nails

    • Nails are placed in the gun in strips. They slide into a guide rack that has a spring loaded lock on it to hold them in place.

    Types

    • There are several different types of cordless nail guns. Some of these include framing guns, finish nailers and staple guns.
