If you have never had a hot glue gun before, you will find there are many uses for them. Hot glue guns are easy to use and come in full size and mini-craft size. From craft projects to home repairs, your glue gun will come in handy when you least expect it. Here are some simple projects to get you started with your hot glue gun.

    Popsicle Stick Projects

  1. Use a glue gun to make houses, stars, crosses, anything you can think of. these are good projects for kids to do, since they are easy and fun for them to make. However, you will want to help them, since the glue does become very hot.
  2. Frame Decoration

  3. Hot glue guns are perfect to decorate picture frames, since many times you may be using mixed materials such as wood, glass, plastic and stone. Also, the hot glue is very durable and the decorations never fall off the frame.
  4. Stick Pin Jar

  5. If you have ever done a sewing project, you know you need stick pins and a place to keep them while working. Making a stick pin jar to store all those pins is easy with a glue gun. Gluing the fabric push pin ball to the lid is simple, and it holds up well through multiple uses.
  6. Diaper Cake

  7. I love making these using a glue gun versus pins and safety pins. The cake is stronger and you can add many more details to it. Also, the diaper cake can still be easily disassembled by the new mommy. Only a few drops of hot glue are needed, and the items will come off smoothly and can be cleaned easily as well.
  8. Gift Wreath

  9. These are fun to make using a wreath and small gift items, such as hair accessories for girls or cars and trucks for boys. Small drops of hot glue are needed to attach the items. The wreath can be placed in the freezer for easy removal of items; they will pop right off once the hot glue is cold and hardened.
