The health benefits of fiber are well researched and documented. Fiber can help ward off may diseases, and fiber also promotes a healthy heart. Fiber fills you up, so it will also help keep weight in check.

Many grains are exceptionally high in fiber. Those most dense include wheat bran cereal, bulgur, whole wheat spaghetti, wheat flakes, wheat bran muffins, oatmeal and whole wheat bread.
